New stuff for Halloween

Well I have ignored my blog for too long, most of the year to be exact. I think I need to start showing it some love.  Figured I start with the new stuff for Halloween. Next to Christmas; Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. I enjoy the decorations, the colors and of course the dressing up. Anything that's lets me dress in non modern clothing is a plus for me. That's why I enjoy going to the Renaissance Fair and to reenactments as well. First up is my fabric flower brooches/clippies.

Friendly Ghost black/orange flower pin brooch

This is my favorite I think it turned out really well. My black and orange polka dots pin with a very friendly ghost all decked out for Halloween. You might not be able to see from the picture, but he has a little black cat and two pumpkins in front of him. And across his stomach says BOO. I love him!!!

Spiderwebs and pumpkin  brooch

This one is  one of two spiderweb designs. Its silver spiderwebs on black fabric with fireopal swarovski crystals at the end of each flower petal. And a very happy jack o' lantern in the center. I was too sure about this fabric when I first got it but now after seeing the end product I like it.

Black cat and spiderwebs brooch

This is the second spiderweb design. Its black, gray and silver webs on  orange fabric. A black cat is the center. Although I like how it turned out I think its missing something I want to add flatbacks but I don't think I want black ones. The design already has enough black in it. Maybe I can add crystal ones to give it a bit more pop.

Candy Corn Brooch

And let us not forget Candy Corn!!!!!! It is not Halloween without the candy corn. candy corn covered fabric with a yummy candy corn in the center. I made this one last year with a different fabric the design was smaller. I like this one better you can see the design more.

Halloween woven Headband

This one is not a fabric flower brooch. This one is one of my famous headbands with a Halloween theme. Black ribbon is complimented with orange ribbon with black skulls and crystal swarovski flatbacks on the ends. My neice loves my headbands and wears them all the time. Bless her heart she's my biggest customer and my best model!! Tha'ts it for now I really need to go do some work in the studio. those headbands are not gonna make themselves!!!
